The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (International radio exhibition), or IFA, is the world’s leading consumer electronics trade show.

Held in Berlin, Germany, August 29 – 30, 2008, IFA hosted the premier European showing of Drum Rocker, the officially licensed Premium Drum Set for the Rock Band 2 video game.

ION showcased its range of consumer electronics and musical instruments the IFA’s global audience. Developed in conjunction with professional music-recording leader, Alesis, ION’s Drum Rocker is the Premium Drum Set for Rock Band 2. Drum Rocker enables players to enjoy the ultimate drumming experience with the game, and with the addition of a drum-sound module, play standalone solo drums or with a band.

VCR 2 PC, another recent development, transfers videos from VCR tapes to personal computers. With a convenient USB connection and a choice of PAL or NTSC models, VCR 2 PC makes rediscovering videos easy and fun.

Perhaps best known for audio products, ION also showed its TTUSB turntable, an innovative and easy method for playing and archiving vinyl records onto digital formats such as computer, MP3, CD, and iPod.
